Jens Ole Møller
Born in Aarhus in 1944, Jens Ole Møller was the eldest son of Niels Otto Møller. Involved in the family business from a young age, he combined studies in carpentry, economics, and communications, earning a prestigious silver medal upon completing his craftsmanship training. After managing Danish furniture imports in London, he returned to Denmark in the early 1970s to officially join J.L. Møller.
While playing a crucial role in expanding the company’s international presence, particularly in Japan, he also contributed artistically to the family business, designing chair models 311 and 312 — both of which are no longer part of the current collection.
Following the premature death of his father in 1982, Jens Ole became Managing Director of J.L. Møller, successfully leading the company until his sudden passing in 1994.
